OMOTOLA JALADE CHALLENGES OIL GIANTS OVER WATER POLLUTION

Omotola Jalade has joined Amnesty International, which she belongs to, in fighting the cause of water pollution and environmental degradation by Oil companies in Nigeria, and was recently spotted in London on Wednesday outside Shell’s Headquarters calling on Shell to Own Up, Pay Up and Clean Up.

In a tweet, the sultry actress reminded her fans that she is from Niger Delta (Ondo State), hence, she feels pained at the effect of the pollution by the activities of Shell in her region.

She was quoted to have said, “Fishermen cannot fish, food cannot be grown or harvested.”

In persuit of the ongoing fight, Omotola also released the video below which also features ‘Barren Land’, an unreleased song from Omotola’s forthcoming album.
