JESSICA ALBA: BUSINESS SAVY DIVA

Keeping busy in her many business endeavors, Jessica Alba was spotted heading into a meeting in Beverly Hills, CA on Friday (May 18).

The founder of “The Honest company” looked business chic in a red knee length dress that she paired with a black leather jacket and pointed toe black pumps as she was seen feeding her meter before heading inside.

Shortly after her meeting, the busy mom of two headed back to Santa Monica, CA to her own offices after a quick outfit change. The "X-Men" star opted for a more relaxed outfit this time sporting teal skinny jeans, a white v neck shirt and red vest while heading in with her hands full.

In other news, the 31-year-old actress was just named one of the top 100 most creative people in business this year by Fast Company for her eco-friendly line that produces baby and household products.

When talking about her company in comparison to the many other lines out there Alba says, “I was sick of people saying, ‘This is our green line, it costs a dollar more,’ but it’s the same stuff that’s in everything else,” adding, “They deleted one fragrance, but it still has tons of carcinogens. Like, really?”

JESSICA ALBA'S CASUAL POST-MET NYC STROLL

After a glamorous night at the MET gala, Jessica Alba went for a more relaxed look while out and about in New York City on Tuesday (May 8).

The "Sin City" star kept busy checking her phone while making her way through the city wearing chunky black boots with leggins, a flower print skirt, green military jacket and accessorized her look with a dark scarf, sunglasses and a white over-the-shoulder purse.

Jessica transformed into a golden goddess last night when she stepped out for the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a liquid gold dress by Michael Kors.

It seems the 31-year-old was shining even after the extravagant event, as she tweeted a picture with her pals, adding, "Having a GD time at #pradaafterparty #metball2012"

JESSICA ALBA HONORS REMARKABLE WOMEN AT DVF AWARDS

Joining in on the Women in the World Summit festivities, Jessica Alba was in attendance for the 3rd annual Diane Von Furstenberg awards in New York City on Friday night (March 9).

Held at the United Nations, the 30-year-old actress was among the celebrity presenters at the event which honors five women who "have demonstrated leadership, strength and courage in their respective fields."

With the DVF Award recipients being doted with $50,000 in support of their organization, this year's crop of deserving ladies included Inspiration Award winner Jaycee Dugard and People's Voice Award recipient Layli Miller-Muro, who was selected through a public vote for her work on behalf of Tahirih Justice Center.

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey was presented with the Lifetime Leadership Award, with Diane Von Furstenberg saying of the five selections, "It is with great pride that we honor these remarkable women with an award of recognition and support."

"Each winner has shown unparalleled courage and leadership, inspiring women all over the world," Diane added.

Jessica Alba Gives Birth to Daughter Haven Garner!

It's a girl!
Jessica Alba gave birth to daughter Haven Garner Warren, the actress announced on Facebook Saturday.
"She was born on Saturday, weighed 7 lbs and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy!" Alba wrote. "Big sister Honor couldn't be more excited about the new addition to our family." "Thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy. It means the world to me."

This is the actress' second child with hubby Cash Warren. In July, the Spy Kids 4 actress told Us Weekly that Honor, 3, was "as excited as a kid can be [about becoming a big sister], even though she doesn't really know what it means just yet."

As of last month, Alba was still getting things ready for her family's newest addition. "The nursery isn't ready. It's not even close, but I'm accumulating things," she told Us. "In the beginning the baby stays with me in the room, so you don't need the nursery ready so soon. We're remodeling our house, so it's going to take a few months. I'm really taking my time."

The actress admits she wasn't very "chill" during the birth of her first child, so she took "hypnobirth classes" to prepare for the delivery of baby number two. "It's not like the clock in front of your face and you go out and you wake up and you got a baby," she joked on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in May. "Basically my husband takes me through sort of a meditation. He'll say, 'You're relaxed, and you're floating on clouds' while you're going through labor and your contractions. I'm just concentrating on breathing and staying relaxed because it's when you get tense that makes the whole labor worse and more painful. That's all it is. It's not like a weird thing."

Jessica Alba: I Starve To Stay Slim

Jessica Alba is busy awaiting the arrival of her second child. But that's not all there is to look forward to, though. The actress is already planning how she'll get her figure back. Due to give birth any day now, Jess has revealed her slimming secrets. When asked how she plans to get the perfect post-baby bod, the 30-year-old told Lucky magazine: "Working out every day for even just 45 minutes is good for my mental state."
Although it seems the actress, like the rest of us, has a tough time psyching herself up for a gym grilling. She added: "Getting dressed and actually doing it is the worst. It's hard to get motivated.
"In the gym I have, like, five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines... Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out."
We feel your pain, Jess.

The Fantastic Four star has also admitted maintaining a super bod like hers isn't easy. She continued: "I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200-calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I'm starving. It sucks. I drink a lot of water."
