A few weeks ago, the fast rising act announced via his Twitter that he was on the verge on acquiring a Ranger Rover Sport. Davido had posted a picture of himself in the SUV on Twitter.
But as things have it, the singer seemed to have changed his mind as he opted for a 2012 Audi Q7 which we’re told is worth about N7.3m!
Davido tweeted a picture of the car with the comment ‘2 many range rovers in naija mehn so i had 2 upgrade!! AMBITION!! Q7 TINS’.
We guess he no longer cares about joining the exquisite Ranger Rover club…
DAVIDO SPLASHES N2M ON NECKLACES
Two monster hit songs and a year after his debut in 2011, the 19-year-old has become an A-list performer, rocking the biggest of shows in the country. His music has also generated a lot of buzz outside the country as he has already begun performing overseas.
And for all this hard work and subsequent success, the singer has decided to spoil himself. Davido who is currently in Malaysia for a show (which took place on Friday, March 16, 2012) found some time to shop, buying for himself a couple of hand rings, wristwatches and chains which includes a N2M necklace.
‘@iam_Davido just blew 2m naira on this chain yoooooo’, Davido’s manager Asa Asika tweeted a few hours ago.
‘Davido has bought the whole Malaysia o! He is just balling anyhow on this trip’, a friend who’s with him on the trip told us.
‘CYPRUS, GHANA, CANADA, KENYA, SA IM COMING SOON!!!!!! #DAVIDOTOUR‘, the singer tweeted moments later.

SIR SHINA PETERS TO TOUR WITH 2FACE, TERRY G, DAVIDO, 20 OTHERS
And he’s not alone on the tour – we’re told big names like 2face, Banky W, M.I, Naeto C, 9ice, Davido, Wizkid, Ice Prince and Terry G will join him for concerts scheduled in several Nigerian cities.
Others include Sound Sultan, W4, Sasha, Zeez, Ras Kimono, Lord of Ajasa, Jah Bless, Art Quake, Side One, Rayce and LKT.
And to supply the best of music will be popular disc jockeys DJ Jimmy JATT, DJ Neptune, DJ Humility.
The first set of concerts will be held in Lagos, Ijebu-Ode and Ibadan. Tour dates are yet to be announced.
Shina Peters over the last year has been the toast of show across the country, performing at the MTN Power of Ten Concert and The Headies. He was also featured on the Hennessy Artistry theme song in 2010.

The pretty chocolate skinned lady we learnt took several pictures of herself and Davido which she posted as display pictures on her blackberry messenger and also posted on her twitter account.
In less than 15 minutes the pictures were posted,they were everywhere becoming the most viewed pictures on the internet.
Right now the gist is that the lady in question Sonia,has been suspended indefinitely by the school authorities.
Sources said the school authorities saw her action as an act of immorality and to bring sanity to the school environment she had to pay the price for her actions.

And, to tell you that he’s not faking it, the singer went all out to tattoo ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ on his chest, as this picture obtained by our photographer shows. It is not Davido’s first tattoo, but we think it’s his most daring and shocking so far.
’Only God knows, I have no idea‘, his manager Asa Asika says when we asked how many tattoos Davido has on his body.
‘On the beat is Davido‘ (one of his popular sayings), a star drawing and ‘HKN‘ are some of the other tattoos we can see on his body (at least with his clothes on)..
‘I just love tattoos‘, he once told NET when he popped in for a quick interview.
