ACTRESS SOLA ASEDEKO DELIVERS BABY BOY

Popular actress,Sola Asedeko,is in the news at the moment.The light-complexioned actress before now was reported to be pregnant.

The good news is that she safely delivered a bouncing baby boy on Tuesday,20th December,2011 at a private hospital in Ojodu, Ikeja Lagos.

The father of the new born baby is a top official at the Lagos State Waste Management Authority(LAWMA).

Their love story started about a year ago and since then it has been a tale of Romeo and Juliet.

As you read this,Sola still lives with her elder sister at an apartment in Magodo,an exclusive residential area on the outskirts of Lagos.There are also strong indications that the christening ceremony of the tot may be held in the same residence.

As at the time she delivered the baby,there was no evidence of any formal union,marriage or engagement between them.

The actress,who used to live in Akute,a border town between Lagos and Ogun States has since relocated to undisclosed abode with her hubby.

OBAMA, CLINTON NAMED 'MOST ADMIRED' IN US GALLUP POLL

Tallied from a nationwide poll conducted earlier this month, a Gallup rankings showed President Barack Obama won the title of the most admired man for the fourth consecutive year and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton topped the list of the most admired woman for the 16th time, abc news said.

Obama was followed by George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, the Rev. Billy Graham and Warren Buffett, while Clinton was trailed by Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Sarah Palin and Condoleezza Rice.

Gallup compiled the rankings nearly every year since 1948 consisting of lists of public figures that have become popular, including high-profile leaders in politics, charitable causes, business and entertainment.

SINGER JOHN LEGEND GETS ENGAGED TO MODEL CHRISSY TEIGEN

John Legend is getting married! The Grammy-winning musician has reportedly popped the question to his model girlfriend, Chrissy Teigen.

Cindi Berger, representative for the "Ordinary People" singer, confirmed the news Tuesday, saying, "John Legend and his girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen, got engaged over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives.” No other details surrounding the engagement were provided.

Although John Legend, 32, hasn’t announced the happy news on Twitter yet, he shared details of his outings with Chrissy, 26, on their trip, saying that they hauled in their own catch for a meal.

According to multiple sources, after the proposal John Legend – who has been dating the Sports Illustrated model since 2007 – headed to Thailand with Chrissy Teigen. The couple stayed with Chrissy’s parents, her sister and fiancé, and enjoyed a Turkey dinner on Sunday. They also took part in numerous cooking classes on their Thai trip, according to Chrissy’s blog.

The young model wrote on Christmas Day, “Did another vacation cooking class! This one wasn’t quite as interactive - everything was already chopped and measured and chopping is pretty much our favorite thing ever. Pad Thai, Panang curry, and som tum, or papaya salad.”

Talking to People in May about how they help style one another, John Legend revealed, "We validate or shut down whatever each of us is doing. [It's] all of the time. We were together when we picked out our clothes today. She's better [at it].”

I NEVER DUMPED ACTING FOR POLITICS - YEMI SOLADE

Yemi Solade is an actor that is regarded in the movie industry as a true activist. To some producers and marketers, the name Yemi Solade is synonymous to rebellion and a thorn in the flesh, while to some of his friends and fans, he is the needed revolutionary in the industry.
