The song,now rocking the airwaves,is a bit of her sophomore effort.Cobhams Asuquo,the visually-impaired genius,put his expertise in producing the song.If you ask me tells the story of an abused child.
The song is a plus to Omawunmi’s work as an Ambassador for Project Alert,which advocates on issues of sexual abuse and reproductive health.
Before releasing the song,the singer,alongside some of her colleagues,had been involved in the campaign against internet fraud tagged MISSPIN,which has the backing of Microsoft.
After her success at the Idols West Africa competition where she emerged first-runner up,Omawunmi debuted with Wonder Woman which entertainment buffs reckon is still relevant,ranking high on radio music charts. Stephen Keshi Replaces Samson Siasia As Super Eagles Coach
"It was a unanimous decision taken by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for the appointment of Stephen Keshi as the new head coach of the national team," said NFF deputy president Mike Umeh. The NFF's Executive Committee met in the Nigerian capital Abuja on Wednesday and deliberated on the recommendations of the body's Technical Committee, who had recommended Keshi.
Having been given a deal that goes until 2014, Keshi has been handed the mandate of taking Nigeria to both the 2013 Nations Cup and the World Cup the following year. His contract includes a stipulation that he must qualify for South Africa 2013 and reach the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Keshi will be free to choose his assistant. There was no news on whether a Technical Director will be appointed to oversee Keshi's role. The BBC's Aliyu Tanko in Abuja says Keshi's appointment is a popular one in Nigeria. This is mainly because Keshi achieved a major qualifying success when leading unfancied Togo to the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
The NFF's technical committee has also been mandated to meet again next week to recommend people for other positions - of national technical director, head coach of the women's national team as well as the technical crews for the under-17 and under-20 women's teams.

Another bad news for Nollywood as an actress known as Pricillia was involved in a ghastly motor accident on her way to a movie location, Nollywoodgossip is reporting.
The actress, who is costarring with Funke Akindele, Ebube Nwagbo, Chika Ike, and Juliet Ibrahim, in a new movie titled FCT, has been rushed to the hospital with other injured occupants of the bus for treatment.
Prior to the accident, the bus was said to be heading towards Abuja town from Mpape district when the driver was said to have lost control of the vehicle and the bus summersaulted twice along Nicon junction minister express road.
Two people have been reported dead while many are injured.
We grieve with the families that lost their loved ones and pray for a quick recovery for those injured who are currently in the hospital getting treatments.

Former Super Eagles Coach Samson Siasia, Sues NFF Over Breach Of Contract
BBC Sport reports that the 44-year-old’s legal team served his former employer with an ‘originating summons’ following his dismissal from the post, but no date has been set for the hearing yet. The NFF announced that Siasia was sacked after he “breached a key clause in the contract” signed with the football authority on 1 December.
But Siasia’s legal team are claiming a breach in contractual agreement signed with the Nigeria football authority upon ‘termination of contract’. According to them, the NFF has violated a formal 30 days’ notice and deprived the former Nigeria international of important working conditions, as agreed.
They claim he was not served a ‘dismissal letter’, provided with a physical trainer whilst he was in charge of the team and nor given accommodation as outlined in his contract. The NFF legal department informed BBC Sport that a statement on this latest saga will be made available to the media at an appropriate time.
Last week, the NFF’s technical committee recommended the dismissal of the former international. He came under huge pressure after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the continent’s flagship tournament for the first time since the 1986 edition in Egypt. Siasia was a popular choice after he guided Nigeria to the final of the 2005 Fifa Under-20 World Cup in the Netherlands and then the final of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
However, he fell out of favour after his team could only draw 2-2 with Guinea in Abuja on Saturday, 8 October in a match Nigeria needed to win to stand a chance of qualifying for the Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Court Ordered NDLEA To Release Baba Suwe By Friday
“The only thing hindering me from releasing the applicant today is because of the Federal High Court order of 20 October. I don’t want to meddle with that order. But if he (applicant) does not excrete the suspected substance he is accused of harbouring in his stomach by Friday, NDLEA should release him on bail”.
She set a bail of N500,000 on Baba Suwe with 2 sureties in similar sum, and additional ordered that his int’l passport be deposited with the High Court Chief Registrar.
Just after Twenty days and nights in NDLEA custody, the officers presented the arrested Nollywood star Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe at an Ikeja High court in Lagos today. The popular Yoruba comedian was excited with overwhelming support from his fans and fellow Nigerian Actors who came to witness the courtroom proceedings.
On Oct 12, 2011, Baba Suwe was caught and detained by NDLEA on suspicions of cocaine intake at the Murtala Muhammed Int’l Airport in Lagos while getting ready to board a flight enroute Paris. Baba suwe later sued NDLEA for illegal detention and requested a total sum of N1 billion naira in damages.

LoLa Monroe has revealed that she signed to Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang imprint, breaking the news in an interview with Atlanta’s V-103 (via Rap-Up). During the chat, she said that the decision to link with the “Black and Yellow” rapper was based on the fact that their visions aligned.
“We got it in with Taylor Gang. Wwe Taylored now,” she said. “Wiz is like a positive free individual that’s about his business and that matches everything I’ve created on my side. Rick Ross Blames Seizures On Sleep Deprivation, Reveals Collaboration With Jay-Z
Rick Ross shook the Hip Hop community when he suffered two seizures in the same day earlier this month, but he assures fans that he’s on the road to recovery. During an appearance on “106 & Park,” Ricky Rozay appeared in good spirits, explaining that his medical emergency stemmed from sleep deprivation and that he has a clean bill of health.
“What it was was I was going about my business as every day. I boarded a flight, and on the flight, I had a seizure and when I snapped out of it, they told me what had happened. I was like, you buggin', call a jet, we finna keep it moving. Because I understand me growing up and hearing about seizures, they can be violent, you bust vessels and bite your tongue up and this and that and in my case, it wasn’t none of that. I felt a little worn out, but I felt I could keep going and that’s what it was.”
He recalled getting on a second plane and having another seizure. When he awoke, he realized the source of his problems. “I boarded a jet and I had another seizure, and when I snapped out of that one, I woke up in front of a doctor and he asked me basically, ‘When was the last time you slept eight hours?’ and I said ‘It had to at least been five years.’ Being the fastest growing label in the game, it comes with a lot of sacrifices. And in my case, it was sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving, me being a hustler. And that has to stop.
“I came back totally healthy,” he added. “It was a case of me not getting enough rest, not getting enough sleep.” He also mentioned that while he was supposed to be on bed rest, he instead netted "the biggest collaboration that we've done for my album" with Jay-Z.
