DJINEE AND MANAGER PART WAYS AFTER 2 YEARS

The media has been filled with stories of the alleged separation of popular singer Djinee and manager Sijuade Oluwaseyi Adedokun fondly called Siju but Nigeria Entertainment Today has confirmed the rumours as we spoke to both parties. Yes, after two and half years of working together, the singer and his manager have called it quits.

The alternative Djinee confirmed the news saying that he and his manager just wanted to move on. No quarrels were involved as their separated amicably. ‘I worked with Siju for like two years but we have known each other as far back University days. It’s been fun working with him’, Djinee told Nigerian Entertainment Today in a telephone conversation.

The reason for the split? Djinee says both parties felt they had to move on to bigger things. ‘I’m working with a new team and planning to release my next album pretty soon’, he explained. Siju also confirmed the news; stating they both had to ‘move on’. ‘A lot of success and awards have come out of it, we worked for an awesome two and a half years’, Siju told NET.

As one of the Most Experienced Talent Managers in the Nigeria Entertainment Industry, Presently Siju is the President of the Artiste Managers Association of Nigeria, (AMAN) and he works for CREAM ENTERTAINMENT that manage the likes of KWEEN, IJEOMA and ORITSEFEMI.

Both parties have known each other for about 8 years and had been friends right from their days in Ladoke Akintola University. Sourcesclose to them say they still are very good friends. Edo state born Djinee (real name Osayamen Nosa Donald) was once a Veejay at Soundcity before he began singing professionally in 2005. He dropped his popular single ‘Ego’ and subsequently his debut self-titled album which featured the popular single ‘Overkillin’ in 2009.

Popular Dancehall star, Daddy Fresh,(Innocent Michael Onyemuwa) has moved out of Ajegunle,Apapa Lagos to a new rented apartment in Okota area of Lagos to continue with his music career.

The 30 something years old Umuahia,Abia State born handsome singer told us during the week at a film location in Apapa where he was shooting a music video of a song he titled “Think About Tomorrow” which is to be in his newest album,Raw Diamond.

HOW VETERAN ACTOR,PETER BUNOR GOT HEALING AFTER READING THE BOOK WRITTEN BY BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO

Veteran Nollywood actor,Peter Bunor,recently survived a devasting stroke that nearly cripple him. The Delta State born actor,whose young son is also into acting gloriously revealed how he recently recovered from the double tragedy of visual impairment and stroke in his church bulletin.

Bunor’s written testimony was published in Living Faith’s weekly,”Signs and Wonders Today”.In the bulletin,Bunor recounted his negative past,which he has abandoned because of the strange things he went through.

Early this year,I had suffered from stroke.Frankly speaking,I had been a member of this church since 1995.But I had not been so close to God.After reading the book written by Bishop David Oyedepo entitled,The Healing Balm,I got my healing instantly! During my affliction,I told God that if he healed me,I was going to serve Him for the rest of my life.

He did it! But June this year,the Holy Spirit bundled me to the Word of Faith Bible Institute(WOFBI). I completed the Basic Certificate Course(BCC) In June,The Leadership Diploma Course(LDC) in September.

Right now,God has now clarified my vision.This is my 30th year in the acting industry.I have been involved in training youths on how to act.After training them,I would use them to shoot carnal movies.But now,God has changed that vision.He told me to use my acting project to win souls for Christ,and that I should start shooting Christian movies! I praise the Lord.

Canada Issue New $100 Bill Made Of Plastic

A new bill note was issued in Canada and it was made in plastic. The new $100 bill note issued by the Bank of Canada was made out of polymer and will give the Canada notes a new look and feel quite different, but they're a good change for Canadians. They are highly secure, durable, and innovative, it was made of multiple layers of plastic and almost impossible to tear, more difficult to counterfeit and it will last longer than a paper money.

$50 bills will be released on March and be followed by smaller denominations like by $20, $10, and $5 bills in 2013. The $100 note , will be featured at an official event taking place in Toronto, Ontario, at the MaRS Centre – a hub for public-private sector innovation and collaboration between the business and scientific communities.

The new note is also recyclable.

Michael Jackson’s Doctor, Conrad Murray, Thinking About Committing Suicide

Michael Jackson’s Doctor, Conrad Murray, who the jury found guilty of killing Michael Jackson told people close to him that he is thinking to commit suicide. He told the people who visited him in prison that he doesn’t want to live anymore and that he intends to kill himself.

According to TMZ, Murray's baby mama, Nicole Alvarez, his bodyguard, Jeff, and his lawyers have all been to the jail to visit him. And Murray has told them that he wants to die, as the verdict came as a shock to him.

It seems that the doctor cannot accept the fact that he was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. He has been making drama since Jackson was killed. His lawyers told him he needed to be prepared for the possibility of a guilty verdict; he never believed it would happen to him. Now Conrad Murray is in jail, waiting to be sentenced on November 29. Murray is very depressed and the people who visited him said that he doesn’t want to live anymore and plans to commit suicide.

Evra determined to pursue Suarez claims

Ferguson, speaking ahead of United's Champions League clash with Romanian team Otelul Galati on Tuesday, said Evra was "adamant" that he wanted to push for action against Uruguayan international Suarez.

France defender Evra has alleged Suarez repeatedly hurled racist insults at him during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Anfield. Liverpool and Suarez have strongly denied the claims.

"I spoke to Patrice and he is adamant he wants to follow it on," Ferguson was quoted by several newspapers as saying.
