D'BANJ JOINS RICK ROSS ON NEW HIP HOP TRACK

 D’banj is putting in major work in his quest to penetrate the international market in 2012. Already he has performed his first major gig in New York at the recently held Mo’Hits concert, he’s wrapping up his fourth album ‘Mr Endowed’ and recording with G.O.O.D Music label mates for the label’s forthcoming collaboration album ‘G.O.O.D Music: The Album‘.

The pop star recently got working with popular Miami-based rapper Rick Ross on a hip-hop track owned by another Miami-based upcoming rapper Lil’ Issue. The song titled ‘V.I.P‘ sees D’banj deliver ad-libs on the chorus and outro while Ross and Lil’ Issue share verses.

Lil’ Issue has also worked with the likes of rap veteran Bun B and R&B cat Pleasure P.

DIDDY OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES MUSIC-THEMED TV NETWORK REVOLT

UPDATE: Puffy plans to venture into music television by the end of the year.

From vodka entrepreneur to professional actor, Diddy has never been one to shy away from the chance to expand his brand. Now, the Bad Boy mogul is looking to branch into a new frontier with a music-themed television network Revolt.

According to Broadcasting Cable, Diddy is launching a new television network called Revolt on December 12, 2012. Sources indicate that Revolt will focus primarily on music and music videos, a la MTV.

Although there are few details about the kind of distributiong the network will receive, Revolt will reportedly be distributed by Comcast and Time Warner Cable service providers.

UPDATE: After news broke that Diddy planned to launch his music video network Revolt, the entertainment mogul has released a video announcing the news.

“I first like to say thank you to Comcast, Comcast Diversity Council and NBC for recognizing the importance of minority ownership of cable television,” he said. “I grew up watching BET, MTV, HBO and NBC, and I had a dream that one day I would get a chance, an opportunity to show my perspective coming from a musical standpoint.”

 Jay-Z and Kanye West will head overseas as The Throne for an international tour.

Jay-Z and Kanye West have announced the international dates for The Throne tour.

The pair will set it off in London, England on May 20th at O2 Arena, with scheduled stops in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and two dates in Paris. The tour will conclude at the LG Arena on June 13th in Birminham, UK.

KURUPT CONFIRMS DR.DRE & SNOOP DOGG WORKING ON NEW DOGG POUND ALBUM

Kurupt explains what Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are bringing to the table for the new Dogg Pound album and discusses what it's like to work with Dre.

News regarding DPG's forthcoming project Alumni has started to leak since late last year. According to Kurupt, the project will be overseen by Dr. Dre and guided by Snoop Dogg as the longtime collaborators will continue their work together. In an interview with Cam Capone, Kurupt also explained what it's like to work with Dre.

"Dr. Dre's gonna oversee things to make sure it sounds good and is tight," he explained of Dre's involvement in the project. "Snoop's gonna basically put it together with me and Daz."

When asked what it's like to work with Dre, Kurupt added that he is constantly inspired by the Good Doctor.

"You know it's gonna be right," he said. "It's exciting all the time. He keeps you inspired and keeps you focused."
DPG fans will have to wait some time for the album to see the light of day.

"We don't got no time frame," Kurupt explained, saying that he'll be more locked in on the project when his tour ends.

Well, so many things were involved, I mean you cannot just wake up one day and say you just want to end a 2-year relationship without any reason.

All through the time I was dating her I was faithful and down to earth with her.This is someone I loved so much with all my heart but we always have the issue of trust.

Sometimes she receives series of calls that she won’t be able to give me a good explanation about. And there are so many things I will not want to start saying now. But basically, we broke up because she was not faithful to me and I could not stay in a relationship where people close to us are telling me my girlfriend is not faithful to me.

I am a strong Muslim and I believe in the Holy Qur’an and Bible.Anytime we have issues like that and I ask my girlfriend to tell me the honest truth,she will swear with the Bible that it’s just a rumour and the fact that her Mum is a pastor made me believe she knew what swearing with a Bible means so I just let her be.But when I saw good evidences that was when I knew she was fooling me all along.

Toyin is a wonderful person but those flaw about her just separated us.

I will rather be a reverend father than go back to that relationship. It was good for us while it lasted though.

TOP ACTOR RAMSEY NUOAH DUMPS NEXT SOAP STAR DEAL—FRED AMATA REPLACES HIM

Recall that we told you few weeks back that top actor Ramsey Nuoah and Mercy Johnson recently hit multi-million naira deal with a new reality TV show tagged,Next Soap Star.

We can also reveal that Ramsey has abandoned the project and moved on with other things.

As gathered,the light skin actor disclosed he will not continue with the deal two weeks back when a N6million cheque issued to him by the Managing Director of Globeceleb,Ms. Jessica Oweife Vangestel bounced at the bank.

Eventually,Mr. Nuoah allegedly called the lady who stormed Nigeria from US to embark on entertainment business that he is no longer interested in the deal.

Subsequently,top actor,director and producer Fred Amata was contacted and he accepted the offer to carry out the project in place of Ramsey Noauh.

However,it was equally disclosed to us that Ms. Vangestel did not intentionally offer a bounce cheque to the actors,but rather informed her bank not to grant such payments till she verifies the motive of certain individuals who handled her management.

Mr .Anthony Obasi,who spoke on behalf of Globeceleb revealed that there was no bad feelings towards Ramsey Nuoah’s exit as he traveled out of the country and will not be available when the TV show will kick-off.

It is just that Ramsey just left,maybe because things are tight at his corner or something,but there is nothing like scam.

Actually,they issued two cheques for Ramsey Nuoah and Mercy Johnson,she went to the bank and cashed her money,but something went wrong with Ramsey’s cheque.I don’t know what happened.

Mercy collected her own at Enugu State branch of Skye Bank,but the issue of Ramsey does not mean that this project is a scam.The project is still going on and we intend starting by last week of March,that is what we have in the contract.

Whitney Houston's "home going" ceremony has turned into a money maker for her Estate -- which very quietly struck a deal to sell the video of the funeral.

Here's how it went down ... Associated Press provided a live pool feed of the funeral to media outlets around the world (including TMZ) on Saturday -- but everyone had to pull the footage 24 hours later. Why?

A rep for the family confirms the family has now "agreed to license footage to several media outlets." The rep says the family is charging "customary fees" to ... "help maximize the estate for the benefit of Bobbi Kristina."
