Apparently, Russell and Katy did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement back in October 2010 when they got married and therefore under California Law, Rusell is entitled to half of the pop star’s fortune.
‘Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends’, Russell said in a statement.
US Weekly magazine quoted a source saying that ‘They had a massive fight. She was like, ‘F*** you. I’m going to do my own thing.’’ The insider says Russell replied, ‘Fine, f*** you too.‘
Perry has not spoken to the press neither have her reps released an official statement. She recently released her new single ‘The one that got away’ which is currently number three on the US charts.
