Al Capone

Alphonse Gabriel “Al” Capone, started at the bottom, selling counterfeit alcohol during the Prohibition and he became the most fierce mobster of Chicago. He was involved in almost all illegal activities at that time, from prostitution to gambling. He played a decisive role in canceling the Prohibition in the United States.

Charlie Chaplin

Almost everybody knows who Charlie Chaplin is. The British actor reached the peak of his career in the 20′s with movies like The Gold Rush, which Chaplin produced and directed.

Jonathan Logie Baird

In 1925, engineer and inventor Jonathan Logie Baird did the first TV transmission. His subject was the dead of a doll of a ventriloquist named Stooky Bill. Two year later, thanks to Baird, the first TV trnasmissions were recorded, from London to New York. Without Baird, TV would not have been the way we know it now.
