Tina’s ad runs under the title “Your Tattoo on my Bum!”
Trade me said Tina Beznec is happy to have her bottom tattooed.
The highest bidder can have anything he likes inked on the spot. He will receive a framed photo of the finished work. He can even go to the tattoo parlour to watch how the tattoo artist does his obra maestra (best tattoo design).
Tina, of Lower Hutt, said that people may think she was 'crazy', but insisted she needed the money.
She pledges that 20% of the auction winnings will go to a charity of the winner’s choice and the rest will go to her, she deserve it, she has been made redundant twice over the past year, she said.
The winning bidder choice of a subject for a tattoo could include a business promotion or marriage proposal, said Tina.
She may end up with a permanent tattoo that isn’t of her liking , but said “I feel very confident that they aren't going to do anything racist, I don't care if it's a swear word or something like that.”
Her bizarre idea has attracted plenty of public interest and the bidding in the auction, which ends on January 20th, has already topped the NZ$10,000 (£5,180) reserve price.
