According to information available to Nigeriafilms.com from a grapevine, the celebrated music producer signed a double digit million naira worth deal with Samsung for its home theatre system.

We learnt that he helped in designing the bass system of Samsung's Afro POP Home Theatre system. He is presently in Cape Town, South Africa.

We scooped that Don Jazzy is also in South Africa with Wande Coal working on a music video.

Don Jazzy and D'Banj called it quit with each other after about nine years together as Mohits label co-owners.

Then one day a Production Manager was passing and asked me if I am an actress and I said no.He told me he was looking for a girl like me who could act and I told him I wouldn’t mind being an actress and that was how I got my first job.

That was in 1999 and the movie is titled Cassanova.

I continued with the English movies until I met my husband.

He was more into Yoruba movies and Soap Opera.I got more jobs in the Yoruba movies

When asked,when did you meet,fall in love and eventually marry Bakky;she said The first time I met him he was more of a God-sent helper that day.

I was stranded right in front of his guest house and couldn’t get transportation out of the area.He was like Hey ! Where are you going and I told him I want to get out of this area.So he was like,okay no problem let me help you.

Lo and behold he dropped me right in front of my house and we became friends.

Then we became lovers and today we are husband and wife.

He came into my life at the right time,he came in almost immediately after I lost my dad,so I I see him as a father figure.

Initially,I used to tell him that I love him as much as I love my father,but as time goes on I found out I love him more than I used to love my father.

He is a wonderful man.He gives out a helping hand and tells me what to do when I am confused.

'CRAZY FAN' ATTACKS KIM KARDASHIAN

It’s God. For me when I met him it wasn’t love at first sight. But he said it was love for him. But even then before we got married he told me he prayed about it. Meek Mill tells MTV that he and Wale aim to bring their respective hometowns' sounds to the next MMG record.

MTV recently caught up with Maybach Music Group's Meek Mill and Wale on the video shoot to their latest single "Bag of Money." During the interview, the Philadelphia leg of the MMG team explained how the group is approaching their upcoming Self Made, Vol. 2 LP.

Meek explained that he and Wale are making sure to bring their hometown's unique sounds into the fold this time around. At the same time, however, Mill says that it's Rick Ross who anchors the group's various sounds and styles on the latest MMG record.

NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS TOYIN ADEGBOLA BECOMES A CHIEF

Oluwatoyin Oluwaremilekun Adegbola, popularly known as Toyin Asewo, recently added another feather to her cap, as she was on Saturday, March 17, 2012 honoured with a chieftaincy title. The 50 year-old actress is now the ‘Otun Yeye Oba’ of Iroko land in Oyo state.

ACTOR JIM IYKE IN INJURY CONTROVERSY

Star actor and Nollywood’s ‘bad boy’ Jim Iyke was reportedly at the receiving end of an altercation that left him severely battered, prompting a surgical operation in the UK recently.

The actor was said to have received this ‘treatment’ in a Cameroonian town called Limbe where he was part of the cast taking part in a movie there.

According to sources, and unconfirmed media reports, the actor, in company of an un-named movie producer had gone to a local hang out spot to unwind after the day’s business, but was prevented from relaxing by fans, mostly females who were all over him once they recognised him.

Things however took a different turn when an army personnel, angered by the fact that Jim Iyke had taken advantage of the situation to flirt with his lady friend, approached him. We’re told a scuffle ensued in which the actor emerged all bloodied and bruised.

A source who has worked with the actor on various occasions confirmed the situation.

‘I know he (Jim Iyke) was involved in a fracas that left him in bad shape lately. I think he let his arrogance get the better of him that day, a costly mistake he would have by now realised considering the fact that he was dealing with someone trained to kill with or without weapons. I don’t know for a fact if he was flown to Britain for surgery though‘.

However, debunking the story that a lady was involved in the saga, the actor’s lawyer, Esther Uzoma, speaking in court during the actor’s on-going share scam trial, stated that he was inadvertently injured by fans who mobbed him upon realising who he was in that country during a video shoot.

She was explaining the reason to trial judge Azubuike Okeagu, why he wasn’t in court that day (Tuesday March 13, 2012) since he was receiving treatment at a hospital.

‘Your worship, I wish to bring to your notice that my client, James Ikechukwu Esomugha, known as Jim Iyke, is presently in hospital, as it stands presently, he is not fit to stand his trial as the constitution requires … He was mobbed in Cameroun when he went for a video shoot last week‘.

This is not the first time the actor, whose real name is James Ikechukwu Esomugha, has been in the middle of a scuffle case.

In 2009, he was allegedly beaten by soldiers in Katsina, and then made to continue work in a movie after he threatened to leave for reasons bordering on contract terms.

He is currently involved in a share scam case in Abuja, after having allegedly duped one Hajia Abiba Abubakar of the sum of 15 million naira purportedly representing 15 per cent stake in his music label, Untamed Records.

The case has been adjourned for hearing to April 17, 2012.

WOMEN RAPE MEN FOR SPERM IN ZIMBABWE

University of Zimbabwe sociologist Watch, Ruparanganda, was astonished to discover seven years ago, while doing a doctoral thesis, that semen has become a tradable commodity in Zimbabwe, where businessmen take young men from the streets of Harare, offered them new clothes, booze and prostitutes, but told them to hand over the used condom after sex, ABS-CBN News said.

But what Ruparanganda couldn’t say was the purpose for which the semen was being used, “it’s really an issue which is mind boggling. It’s quite a big mystery. Obviously we know it’s being used for rituals.”

Today, there were sensational reports of gang of women in the highways of Zimbabwe picking up male travellers and hitchhikers to have sex and harvest their sperm in condoms for the same boggling reason.

Local media have reported victims being held at gunpoint, drugged and given stimulant, and forced into repeated sex before being dumped on the side of the road.

Three women were arrested in 2009 for violating at least 17 men but the picking up of men from the street continued with the police failing to arrest more of the perpetrators.

Ruparanganda said “it just shows there’s some big racket somewhere, some big guys driving everything, but they’re in the background using these ladies.”

DMX SUED OVER BOTCHED COMEBACK TOUR

DMX is on the hook for another $630,000 -- this according to a booking agency which claims X's legal problems torpedoed a lucrative international comeback tour ... and now, it's suing to get its money back.

The booking agency in question -- a company called Heavy Rotation -- filed the lawsuit in New York, claiming it struck an exclusive year-long deal with DMX in 2011 to book the rapper's concerts ... anywhere on the planet.

But according to the lawsuit, DMX was plagued with legal problems from the start -- a traffic violation in August, and two nasty child support disputes ... which led to a lien on the rapper's passport, preventing him from performing overseas.

According to the suit, HR bent over backwards to fix the legal issues -- coughing up nearly a hundred grand to cover bail, child support, and a slew of other legal bills ... hoping it would clear the way for the tour, a task that included lifting the lien on X's passport.

But HR claims its efforts were in vain -- because DMX continued to cause problems, hiring outside management that tried to book DMX on shows within the United States ... violating X's agreement with HR. On top of that, X couldn't resolve his passport issues ... and all concerts had to be canceled.

X's manager Jason tells a different story -- claiming DMX chose to sever all ties with HR after it put the rapper at risk with some unsavory business practices.

Still, HR claims it lost $749,285 on the deal gone bad -- and it wants the money back, stat.

I also went to meet him. Then some guys accused us of shooting without settling them. They insisted that we should pay. I just ignored them and left. They then attempted to rough handle the generator operator, he pointed at me that I was in charge.

They left him and came to me. One of them said he would slap me.I dared him. I told him he would not go unpunished if he should lay his hands on me. Before I knew it, a slap landed on my face.

I turned and gave him two slaps. That was how things became rough. My crew confronted them.I noticed those guys attacked us under the influence of alcohol.

One of them hit me with a stick.I was actually caught off guard but thank God,the stick only hit my hand.That was when I sustained bruise.

We had to call the police.They took to their heels when they heard police were coming.We went to the station to lodge a report,wrote our statement,and fortunately for us,we caught one of them.

He was detained for some days.His parents came to beg us to release him that it wasn’t long he lost his father.Later, he was released.

When asked, some people alleged that you are stubborn and have a razor mouth and that is why you were set up; she said It is normal for people to say anything when an incident like this happens. I know I have a sharp mouth, our mouth is meant for talking. I don’t go beyond my boundary. I believe it just happened, I wasn’t set up.

DR. DRE TO PRODUCE HORROR MOVIE "THAW"

Dr. Dre will serve as producer for the upcoming horror-thriller "Thaw."

Dr. Dre has been tapped to produce the upcoming horror-thriller Thaw, set to be written by Vik Weet for Crucial Films.

According to Variety, Dre is producing with Crucial partner Daniel Schnider, who came up with the idea for the flick. The movie focuses on “an ancient evil that emerges from the rapidly melting ice in the Yukon.”

Dre is no stranger to Hollywood. The super producer/rapper launched Crucial Films in 2007 with a first-look deal with New Line. This marks the first release under the partnership.
