Three months after taking delivery, Kaffy is already up and about her business as a dance-fitness instructor.
On Saturday, March 3, 2012 Kaffy in conjunction with fitness brand Imagneto staged a ‘Imagneto Dance Day’ at the National Stadium where she invited the general public encouraging them to come with their family for some hours of fitness training.
Kaffy will also be leading ‘Team 9ja‘, the official dance team that will be representing Nigeria in the forthcoming World Dance Cup in Montreal, Canada from July 8 – 10, 2012.
Kaffy and her fiancé Joseph Ameh took delivery of their first child - a baby boy on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at County Hospital, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos. The child was christened on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 at their Seaside Estate residence in Ajah, Lagos.

KAFFY DANCEQUEEN WELCOMES BABY BOY
Nigerian Dance Queen and Guinness Book of Records holder (for dancing 53 Hours and 30 minutes non stop), Kafayat Shafau popularly Known as Kaffy, delivered a bouncing a baby boy yesterday afternoon at a hospital in Lagos.

PHOTOS: Kaffy To Release Pregnancy Workout DVD

Nigeria’s leading dancer-choreographer, Kafayat Shafau a.k.a Kaffy has hinted that she will be releasing a pregnancy DVD for pregnant women to work-out to and also learn a few things about being pregnant.
Kaffy who is about six months pregnant and in her final trimester revealed this in an interview with HipTv at Eko Hotel and Suites on Saturday, October 3, 2011 where she was rehearsing for the recently held MTN Project Fame West Africa Opening Gala and concert. Kaffy is a faculty member of the reality talent show and also a dance instructor.
Kaffy also said that she isn’t slowing down much on her dance routines even though many people think she should take a break until she has taken delivery of her child.
‘Definitely I’m still working. Right now I’m working on Project Fame as a choreographer and faculty member so I’m still working. And I said to many people, it is not a disease, it is not cancer, it’s pregnancy and to a certain level, it’s ok if you are naturally physically fit before you are pregnant as you have periodic check ups’ Kaffy said.
In July, the entertainer announced she was four months pregnant and will be getting married to Joseph Ameh (a drummer with Psquare‘s band) in October.
