THE STORY OF ACID BATH VICTIM, FRANCA OGBU

On May 5 2011, 22yr old 100 level Economics student of Federal University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa State, Franca Ogbu, was bathed with acid and permanently disfigured by people who are yet to be fully identified. There are two or more versions of what actually happened to Franca. Some students in the school claim that Franca was in a relationship with a lecturer in the school and the man's wife sent thugs to bath her with acid. The school authority is claiming that another male student of the school whom she rejected romantically arranged with some of his friends to disfigure the once pretty girl.
