AL PACINO TO VOICE HIS FIRST ANIMATED CHARACTER IN DESPICABLE ME 2

Academy Award winner Al PacinoAl Pacino has been in a lot of films. But he hasn’t made an animated one. But all that is going to change.

Al Pacino will voice his first ever animated character in the sequel to Despicable Me.

The first film grossed over $ 543 million worldwide so a sequel was greenlit as soon as it grossed beyond the budget which was $ 69 million. Details on the character are still murky but it is assumed Pacino will be a good guy.

But things may turn sideways and he becomes a villain. Still, it is going to be quite interesting to see Pacino in a new medium. Steve Carrell will reprise his role as the film’s lead character Groo.

Al Pacino's Daughter (Julie) Arrested for Drunk Driving

Julie Pacino, the 21-year old daughter of one of the planet's most iconic actors, was arrested for DWI early Saturday morning in New York. The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. after Julie drove her Mercedes through a checkpoint on Houston Street in Manhattan. "She had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and the strong smell of alcohol on her breath," officer James Duffy wrote in the police report. "She admitted to drinking three beers and smoking marijuana prior to entering the checkpoint."

Al Pacino flew to NYC from Los Angeles immediately upon hearing this news, as his daughter - a softball standout at UCLA - was arraigned on Saturday evening and released on her own recognizance.
