VETERAN COMIC ACTOR BABA SALA IS ALIVE

Contrary to rumours that made the rounds last week, that Veteran Comic actor Moses Olaiya popularly known as Baba sala has passed on, the actor is still alive.

Baba sala, was rumoured to have kicked the bucket during the week, a situation which threw the movie industry into a momentary shock.

One of his sons has refuted the rumour.

" My Dad, Moses Olaiya Adejumo [M.O.N] a.k.a Baba sala is not dead as earlier broadcasted, please disregard any news concerning his death.

Thanks as you pass this on". His son says.

Baba sala who recently celebrated his 80th birthday was struck by stroke last december.

VETERAN ACTOR BABA SALA DOWN WITH STROKE

He is regarded as one of the pillars behind what we call the movie industry(Nollywood)today. He is one of the pioneer artists that first took drama from stage to cinema in the 80s with “Orun Mooru” and the rest.

Moses Olaiya Adejumo popularly known as Baba Sala also played big on radio,television as well as on stage.

We gathered from those who should know that this octogenarian is seriously down with stroke.

Baba Sala produced the movie,Aare Agbaye in 1983 and Mosebolatan in 1985.

All efforts to reach his daughter to confirmed the story proved abortive.
