FERGIE'S FASHIONABLE LAX LANDING (PHOTOS)

 

Flying with first-class fashion, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson hopped off a flight in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (February 22).

Wearing a floppy black hat with large sunglasses and leather jacket with a flowing skirt and black pumps, the Black Eyed Peas singer made her way through LAX Airport as she hit the exits while hugging a large white pillow.

Over the weekend, the 36-year-old joined in on the celebrations of Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Fergie was spotted watching the festivities in VIP seats at the Sambadrome, where the main dance competition of the parade took place.

The "I Gotta Feeling" hitmaker also was recently named as the Global Beauty Ambassador for the cosmetic brand Wet 'n Wild.

A multi-year and worldwide campaign promoting Wet 'n Wild products will feature Fergie with an exclusive collection showcasing the singer's edgy style being set hit store shelves later in the year.

BLACK EYED PEAS TO TAKE INDEFINITE HIATUS POST-MIAMI, FLORIDA SHOW

The gang will split apart to focus on their respective ventures. After tonight’s performance in Miami, Florida, Black Eyed Peas will begin its indefinite hiatus from recording and releasing new music.

According to frontman will.i.am, the hiatus is more of a “break” and that they will spend their time off focusing on other ventures. “We always have two cycles of records and then we take a break," said will, who is gearing up for the release of a solo album. "And then two cycles of records and then a break. When we take breaks you know, we work on side projects and get our personal stuff in order then come back and make beautiful music. We think beautiful music."

Taboo plans to spend time with his family, while apl.de.ap will focus on being an ambassador for education in the Philippines. Fergie is looking to start a family.

Yeah, that's one of the things that we want to do," she said. "I've just been touring since 2003 and like anything things get monotonous and your doing the same thing every night. I'd like to go days without wearing make-up and watching my football games. Doing my footwear collection and my fragrances...Just going where the day takes me."

Tonight’s show is set to feature cameos from Cee Lo Green, Flo Rida, Marc Anthony, Sean Kingston and Jason Derulo.

Will.i.am says Fergie is not leaving BEP

 

Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am has blasted rumours alleging singer Fergie is quitting the group. The I Gotta Feeling hitmakers have been plagued by claims they are on the verge of a split after announcing in July that they are set to take a hiatus following the completion of their recent world tour.

Frontman will.i.am was forced to speak out to silence the reports last month and now the rapper has addressed the latest allegations on his Twitter.com blog - and he's taking aim at U.S. TV talk show host Wendy Williams for spreading the false news.

Quoting a tweet from Williams, he writes, ""@WendyWilliams: Hot Topics: @fergie is leaving The Black Eyed Peas. Find out who I think should replace her.' So not true...and so not cool".

Ashanti to replace Fergie in Black Eyed Peas

Ashanti is set to replace Fergie in super group The Black Eyed Peas, Nollywoodgossip has learned. Reports have it that Fergie is taking an INDEFINITE LEAVE. One of the group’s members Taboo told the newspaper The New Times. “We have to respect Ferg. Ferg is our sister. She definitely wants to have a family, and we’re happy for her.”

MediaTakeOut also reported that an insider told them: “The group had been looking for a replacement for some time.” Ashanti was reportedly brought onto the group’s WORLD TOUR – as sort of an AUDITION, to see if she could work with the band – and it worked out PERFECTLY!!

We hope this is the comeback Ashanti needs.
