Hitting the town after tending to her "American Idol" judging duties, Jennifer Lopez was arm-in-arm with boyfriend Casper Smart in West Hollywood last night (March 15).

The "Papi" singer glistened in a gold sequined star-print dress and matching gold strappy high heels as she and her backup dancer beau chowed down at Ago Restaurant.

The outing comes just as Miss Lopez finds herself adorning the cover of the April 2012 "Shape" issue of Vogue magazine.

As part of her interview, J Lo was asked about her new man, but for the most part opted to stay tight-lipped, as she said, “He’s adorable. But you already see that... He really is. He’s a good egg. I don’t want to talk about it too much. It’s my private thing.”

Aside from her current judge position on “American Idol,” JLo is also working on the Latin talent show Q’Viva “The Chosen” with her estranged husband Marc Anthony.

The upcoming gig follows the pair as they travel to 21 countries in hopes of finding the world’s most talented Latin American performers.

Marc Anthony has told his estranged wife,  Jennifer Lopez, that she should see a psychiatrist to determine why she is incapable of being alone, and goes straight from one romantic relationship to another, Nollywoodgossip has learned.

The former couple had yet another fight over the weekend, with Marc complaining that he wanted to see their children more frequently. “As always with things between Jen and Marc recently, the conversation quickly turned heated,” a friend close to the situation says.

“Jen said Marc wasn’t being attentive enough as their father, and Marc laughed at that remark and said she was always changing her travel plans with the children at the last minute.

“The real source of Marc’s anger is Jen’s relationship with back-up dancer, Casper Smart. Jen is very serious about him. Marc told Jen that she [should] see a psychiatrist to deal with her issues to figure out why she always needs a man all the time.

Jen and Ben [Affleck] had just broken up when she got hot and heavy with Marc. Jen’s relationship with Marc was the longest relationship she ever had with anyone, about seven and a half years.”

Marc has told JLo that her boyfriend, who has been arrested for drag racing and had warrants out for his arrest, is banned from driving their toddler twins, anywhere. Even though Marc and Jennifer haven’t formally filed for divorce yet, the Latin superstar told the American Idol judge he would take legal action if she went against his instructions.

“This wasn’t a threat that Marc gave Jen. He will go straight to family court if he needs to get a judge involved to make sure Casper doesn’t get behind the wheel with his kids in the car,” the insider says.Smart formally pleaded no contest last week to exhibition of speeding, and was sentenced to one year probation, and was ordered to pay a $500 fine.

Casper Smart is different. He is making a headline and could be sent to jail for violating the traffic law. Police said that 24-year-old dancer have their records including speeding over 100 miles per hour and illegal drag racing. He drive without a valid license in 2004, 2006 and 2007. In 2005 he allegedly evaded electronic toll charges. Also he exceeded speed limits of 65 mile per hour in 2004 and 2005.

Smart posted a bail $26, 000 in relations to the charges which are still pending and in March he pleaded no contest and schedule to appear in court on January 05, 2012. Before the court date he must complete 10 days of community service.

If found guilty, he could spend 90 days in jail and have to pay another fine of $500. A source said that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart shared a kiss to celebrate JLO's night. She was chosen as favorite artist in the Latin Music category during the American Music Awards.

They also dating and having a good time. They've been getting more open with their flirting for weeks. "It's a fun fling. It's not meant to turn into anything more."
