UNCOVERED ! THE 3 REASONS RAP STAR,MI DENIED HIS MARRIAGE PLANS TO ERICA OKUNDAYE

Few weeks ago it was reported that rap star MI (Jude Abaga) was set to wed his lover of 2 years Erica Okundaye,Miss Nigeria 2010 1st runner-up.

After reading the report, the short dark-complexioned tweeted that he is not getting married and does not have a girlfriend.

In his words I am not getting married. Not yet at least. I wish I could get a super model to date me

Response from his fans and followers on Twitter led to the second tweet that : Why would I want to marry a short super model and curse my kids to the same height defect?

MI’s response has so far confused so many people who are aware of his affair with Erica and when he was asked by a particular follower on Twitter if he was denying Erica,the talented rapper refused to respond.

Right now for those in the know, the question remains why would MI deny dating Erica and those that are not aware of their relationship still ponder if the report is true.

During our findings, we came about 3 reasons MI had to deny that he is getting married to Erica.

He sure didn’t do it without the approval of Erica who prefers to keep a low profile and the first reason is the outburst of the pastor of their church.

They both attend Covenant House of Praise Church Rodizzo,GRA Ikeja,Lagos.

The pastor who is like a father to Erica was said to have been angry that she didn’t inform him and also told her that she shouldn’t put herself in the public glare nor should she release information about their wedding until a date has been picked.

The easy going lady was so confused and when she told MI, they both agreed to deny it until when they are ready.

The second reason is Erica’s family members, who we gathered were not pleased about the story and for spiritual reasons, they advised them to keep their private life and plans secret for now.

The last reason is that MI wishes to focus on his record label and new album which was unveiled on Wednesday, 13th April 2012 at the industry Nite which held at Oriental Hotel,VI,Lagos.

He has to re-focus the mind of his fans on his new project and not have them dwell on his marriage.

Many artistes over the years have denied their wedding plans but eventually got married to the same person they must have denied.

MI’s case is understandable but what many people close to him wonder is why he would go all the way to deny Erica out rightly and refer to an ex-beauty queen who stands 5feet 8 inches tall as a short super model!

M.I (JUDE ABAGA) MIGHT LEAVE CHOCOLATE CITY TO FLOAT OWN LABEL (LOOPY RECORDS)

If what is getting to Nigeriafilms.com is anything to go by, then, all may presently not be well between Jude Abaga, who is better known as MI, and his Audu Maikori led record label, Chocolate City.

According to the gist making round, the self-acclaimed Africa's number one rapper is set to launch his own record label.

From what Nigeriafilms.com gathered, the short dark dude from Jos has concluded plans to launch his Loopy Record Label on Saturday, March 3, 2012, which we learnt is located around Gbagada area of Lagos State.

Unconfirmed reports said there is a strain between the once smooth working relationship between MI and Chocolate City Label boss, Audu.

Chocolate City has under its label Ice Prince; Jesse Jagz, who is the younger brother of MI; Brymo and MI. We could not confirm if other acts under Chocolate City would join Loopy Record having joined Chocolate City through MI.

As announced earlier, the first ever Notjustok Music Concert will be taking place on Saturday, December 17, 2011 and organizers of the music concert recently unveiled the artistes billed to perform as well as hosts for the event.

Over 30 artistes according to show organizers will be gracing the stage to thrill their fans as they render their popular hit songs. They include The Mo’Hits Crew, Choc Boiz (M.I, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince and Brymo), EME’s Banky W, Wizkid, Skales, Kennis Music all stars, eLDee da Don, Waje and Tiwa Savage.

Others are Lami, Mo’cheddah, SauceKid, Sound Sultan, Timaya,Chidinma, Myke, Iyanya, Eva, RuggedMan, Ikechukwu, Kelly Hansome,Show Dem Camp, Iceberg Slim, Kefee, Dammy Krane, Yung6ix, Davido, Flavour, Samklef, Bracket, YQ, Vector, Olamide, ILLBliss, Tha Suspect and SolidStar.

Organizers say the show will be anchored by five hosts – TV host Andre Blaze, Model and Africa Allstars Winner Uti, BEAT FM OAP Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Industry Nite host Mc Larry D and Soundcity TV host Moet Abebe.

Disc Jockey for the night include DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Neptune, DJ Humility, DJ Spinall, DJ Atte, Dj Vinnie, DJ Tee and DJ Xclusive.

The event is billed to hold at The GET Arena, Lekki, Lagos.
