VETERAN ACTOR,ENEBELI ELEBUWA DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL

Veteran actor,Enebeli Enebuwa has been discharged from the hospital three months after he was hit by stroke.

Confirming this in a phone chat;he said, I’ve been in the hospital for the past three months.Although,I’ve been discharged,I’m still going for medication from my house.

But the good news is that I am getting better

He was also full of gratitude to his Nollywood colleagues and well meaning Nigerians,who have been supporting him financially,spiritually and morally.

Veteran actor, Enebeli Elebuwa is getting better after he was hit by stroke some weeks back.

Confirming this in a phone chat,he said My condition is improving.I am getting better.There is really a lot of improvement now Enebeli confessed.

Asked when he would be discharged,we were told that his doctors are still observing him and would decide when he would be discharged.

He also expressed gratitude to his Nollywood colleagues and Nigerians at large who have been supporting him spiritually and morally.

It’s no longer news that veteran Nollywood hero Enebeli Elebuwa was struck by a deadly stroke, what is news is that the hardworking actor has been in a painful state at St. Luke’s hospital, Yaba, Lagos, for the past one month. Nollywoodgossip has also learned that the Delta State born movie star is calling for aids for treatment in India.

After the demise of Sam Loco Efe, Nollywood heavy-weights called on all stakeholders in the industry to stop concealing their personal problems. They pleaded that people should try more to bring their problems to attentions of the industry leaders so they could assist them. Actor Enebeli Elebuwa In Stable Condition After Suffering Stroke

President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Segun Arinze today told Nigerian Entertainment Today that the current health condition of Nigerian actor Enebeli Elebuwa is now ‘stable’ following a stroke he suffered just last week. ‘He’s stable. We are working on every possible thing to get him back on his feet’, Arinze told NET

Reports say after the stroke, Elebuwa was admitted to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos. According to different sources, the long serving Nollywood actor could barely talk nor lift his body after the stroke occurred. Elebuwa’s health condition had begun to deteriorate about a year ago, and he reportedly called on the Actors Guild of Nigeria to come to his rescue.

‘He’s now stable and hoping to recover properly‘ a close source tells us. Meanwhile, Arinze has reached out to his colleagues in Nollywood, pleading with them to help out in supporting Elebuwa in this ‘tough time’. ‘I would like to use this opportunity to reach out to the superstar acts in the movie industry, help your colleague please’, Arinze pleaded.

Arinze also dropped a word of advice for his colleagues. ‘This is a wakeup call for all actors. I’m personally tired of the deaths. We need to make full check-ups at the hospital’. Elebuwa has acted in over 125 movies including ‘Domitila’ (1996) and ‘Oracle’ (1998) in his 30-year acting career. His first feature in a Soap Opera was ‘Mirror in the Sun’ but he was launched into national fame when he played the character ‘Andrew’ in a ‘80s TV jingle.

THE UNTOLD STORY OF ENEBELI ELEBUWA'S AILMENT

It is no longer news that veteran actor, Enebeli Elebuwa is down with stroke. According to sources, the ace actor can hardly talk,nor raise parts of his body except with the assistance of family members or his wife who is always on hand to render one form of assistance to him or the other.

Recall that about some time last year 2010, the media was agog with Enebeli battling with ill health and when he found his way to a popular church Resurrection Praise Ministries For Africa,located somewhere in Satelite Town close to Navy Barracks Navy Town, Enebeli through the Prophet in-charge of the ministry got some divine healing as the problems associated with his use of his legs became a thing of the past as his use of walking aid was discarded.Then, Enebeli even gave a testimony of how God used the Prophet Samson Mustapha Bejamin to heal him.

All that lasted till this year when all of a sudden, Enebeli Elebuwa left the church in a manner still not clear to many and his problems which were banished via divine intervention started reoccurring again,thus culminating in his present state of health and the recent stroke which he is suffering from.

Before his departure from Resurrection Praise Ministries For Africa, Enebeli Elebuwa while on location in Nollywood used to extol the virtues of the man of God in his church who God used to heal him,and on most occasion,he was branded an evangelist propagating the word of God while on film location.Many church members told us that the return of the stroke may not be unconnected with his leaving the church.

According to them,the believe in the church is that “for your miracle to remain permanent,members must remain under the protective shield that the man of God the Prophet has provided,and that any person who after collecting a miracle and decides to leave might have his problems revisiting him again because the enemies which were banished will come back stronger to reclaim what they were chased away from”.

Many however say the church members claim are hogwash arguing that if Enebeli was healed by miracle in the first place,leaving the church would not have affected him as afterall”the miracle came From God and not the church premises”

These are definitely not the best of times for veteran actor, Enebeli Elebuwa who has been down with stroke for almost a month now. According to sources, the revered entertainer is currently admitted at the St. Luke’s hospital, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.

The Delta State-born actor is calling on well- meaning Nigerians and the Delta State Government to come to his aid financially. Several Nigerians, especially fans, colleagues and well-wishers of the actor are currently praying and holding vigil for the bedridden thespian.
