 Top Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun better known as AY was on Sunday, April 29 involved in an car crash in Abuja.

According to what Nigeriafilms.com gathered, AY was involved in the auto accident around the intersection between Thisday Dome and NITEL at Central Business District, Abuja.

We also learnt that he was unhurt in the car crash.

AY, who was reported to have just left a church event at Hilton Hotel, Abuja, had the Toyota Siena car he was sitting at the front seat involved in the auto accident with a 406 Peugeot car.

The A-list comedian recently had a show in Lagos tagged AY Live in Lagos on Easter Sunday.

Popular comedian and MC Teju Babyface and Lagos-based model Tobi Banjoko are engaged.

The couple began dating a few months ago, but have known each other a very long time, according to sources close to the couple.

Tobi was also present at Teju’s late father’s wake keep in Lagos and burial in Oyo State and was reportedly quite active in the burial activities.

‘Yes it’s true. I feel excited’, Banjoko, who was the winner of the Lagos Carnival beauty pageant in 2010, told NET. ‘He likes what I do, I like what he does, and we understand ourselves perfectly’.

Tobi, an undergraduate at Lagos State University, also represented Ondo State at the 2011 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant, where she emerged as Miss Photogenic.

NET has gathered that Teju popped the big question a few weeks ago, on Valentine’s Day, just a few hours before 2face Idibia proposed to his long time love Annie Macauley.

A source close to the couple tells us Teju called Tobi on Valentine’s Day to meet him at the Southern Sun hotel, Ikoyi Lagos. As Tobi made her way into one of the rooms, she was surprised to see that Teju had decorated it with red roses; he then popped the big question, and of course she said yes.

We called up Teju who was quite reluctant to divulge any information. He only said ‘God dey, patience is a virtue’.

No wedding dates have been fixed yet, but the Introduction will be held in a few months, and we’re told the couple will make Teju’s 1004 Apartment their home after they get married.

Built from scratch, the haven is a duplex of three sitting rooms, seven bedrooms with a swimming pool sized Jacuzzi in the master bedroom and a floor to ceiling sized cinema for the viewing pleasure of the family and friends of the lover of high end breed of dogs. Situated in a nicely tucked in estate in the Lekki axis of Lagos called Nicon town, the house which comes with an electrically controlled garage is without the traditional fence that shields most homes in Nigeria. Even though it costs the comedian a fortune to erect, it is without a doubt a huge relief for him, what with the astronomical rent he parted with annually at his Ikoyi pad.

Nigerian comedian Klinton Afamefuna Igwemba better known as Klint da Drunk and his wife have taken delivery of their second child; a baby boy today Sunday, February 12, 2011.

‘Praise the Lord!!! God has blessed us with yet another bouncing baby boy!!!!! I thank you Lord!! God is wonderful! Wife n baby doing fine!!‘, the comedian posted on his Facebook wall. His manager David later confirmed the news.

Calls made through to Klint himself were not answered as at the time of the report.

The couple met a few years ago and welcomed their first child Denzel in February 2009.

Comedian Akinlami Babatunde Julius; famously known as Elenu has joined the league of car owners.

The hard working entertainer took delivery of 2007 Acura TL. The wonder on the wheels costs the graduate of Computer Science, University of Benin, N3.1 million.
