The basket-ball player’s major grouse is that his 31-year-old socialite wife Kim went ahead and filed for divorce on Oct 31, 2011 without taking his consent. Kim had announced that she was filing for divorce barely 72 days after their marriage.
26-year-old Kris is now in discussion with his lawyers as he believes that he ought to have been paid more for his involvement in the reality TV show “Kourtney & Kim Take New York.”
Kris and Kim are cast together in this programme. Meanwhile Kris is believed to very concerned about the manner in which he may be portrayed on the programme.
Kris’ legal team led by lawyer Lee Hutton III is investigating his options, informs a source. Also according to Kris his role on ‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York’ is much larger than he has been informed and hence he wants more money, informs the same source, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“But Kris is also suing because he’s really worried about how badly he’s going to be portrayed on the series,” adds the source.
