Top actress Iyabo Ojo is no doubt one of the most beautiful, stylish and most sought after actresses in the Nigeria movie industry, who has carved a niche for herself in the industry, based on her agility in displaying what she knows how to do best, which is acting.

She’s one of the actresses that make things happen in the Nigerian entertainment industry,especially in the Yoruba movie genre.

The beautiful mother of two in a recent interview opens up on her marriage plans.

She said; Everybody keeps asking me when I am going to get married.Maybe when the right guy comes knocking on the door,I will open.I wouldn’t say I haven’t found the right person,I have,but it is not easy to find a nice person who is a friend who is a life time partner.

Having made the 1st mistake,I wouldn’t want to make the 2nd mistake.I am not someone who believes in having too many children,that is another problem.I am so contented and satisfied with my kids,and if I have to marry,it has to be a man who would love my kids,and love them like they are his own.

And it is so difficult to find such for me.I haven’t really come across someone who will really,really love my kids for who they are.

And most of the time maybe I’m in a relationship with someone who is taking care of me and also showing love to my kids,maybe we are not just compatible for marriage.There are a lot of things you need to go into before getting married.

Asked,will being a star or a celebrity not make it difficult to find a true husband;she said Yes,that makes it more difficult because being a star attract so many guys to you.Many of these guys come because of the stardom.

Many of the guys who come chasing me come because of the Iyabo they watch on the screen,they don’t really know me.I am different from the person you watch on the screen.

Most of the guys who come after us,we actresses,are guys who just want it said that I am dating so,so,actress.Unknown to you,many of them already have a life and they hide that life away from you.And when eventually you find out it hurts and you then decide I don’t want to be part of this mess.

This is why I have to take my time.I often tell people,if you rush into marriage,you are going to rush out.

IYABO OJO MARKS BIRTHDAY WITH DOWN'S SYNDROME KIDS

It was quite a shindig recently at Adegoke Nursery and Primary School, Surulere, venue of the birthday party of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, who turned 34 on Wednesday, December 21.

Dressed simply in a jeans and T-shirt with the inscription; 'Dance to Save a Soul', Iyabo, who earlier had disclosed she would be spending her birthday with children with Down syndrome, had that Wednesday morning stormed the venue to join these children with their parents and some officials of Adegoke Down Syndrome Foundation.

Joining the actress to make it a memorable day for these kids were 'Sexy Pink ladies' group and 'Future stars'. There was also a huge media presence at the event which was attended by the celebrant's colleagues. Among them were Muka Ray, Mercy Aigbe, Sikiratu Sindodo and Lolade Abuta. It was indeed an emotional moment for the actress as she gave her welcome speech.

“I'm very happy to be alive today. I want to encourage us to show love and give back especially to a society that has given us so much. I love kids and I have kids of my own and other kids that I care for but I feel the need to bring together kids that are privileged with these special kids so they can interact together,” she said.

WASIU ALABI PASUMA AND SAHEED OSUPA RECONCILE

To many reconciling top Fuji stars Pasuma and Saheed Osupa is a task that cannot be done but we can authoritatively inform you for free that this uphill task has been achieved as both musicians,Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and his erstwhile arch rival,Saheed Osupa were reconciled recently in Lagos.

To show their reconciliation both featured together in a yet to be released movie recently in Ikorodu.

Also featuring in the movie is another well celebrated female musician QueenSalawa Abeni who was accompanied to the movie location by her bold and beautiful daughter,Okikiola,the university of Ilorin graduate, who she had for General Kollington Ayinla.

The said movie which title is yet to be known has one of the Ray Eyiwunmi brothers, Muka Ray Eyiwunmi,as the producer.

It was Muka Ray that brought the three super stars together in his movie that was shot in choice areas of Lagos. In the said movie all the musicians not only sang in it but also acted and all worked under the same music promoter,the character which was played by Wale Sanusi.

The movie features other acts like Iyabo Ojo,Odunlade Adekola,Adekola Tijani,Olaniyi Afonja,Afeez Oyetoro otherwise known as Saka, Ebun Oloyede otherwise known as Olaiya Igwe among others.

It will be recalled that Pasuma and Osupa Saheed has been at war for over ten years now over who is superior,whose music is better and who came into the industry first among other things,the fight got messier last year that the two were waxing albums abusing each other.

The controversial actress is in the news again as we gathered that she has form a new social clique named Pink Ladies.

They are the new set of young ladies who make parties tick these days.

Right now no party seems complete without the presence of these ladies as they seem to be dominating the Lagos social scene.They are young,social,educated and popular.

They also possess a kind of beauty and style that catch people’s attention when they step into a gathering.

The Pink Ladies as the name of the group connotes always attend parties wearing Pink accessories to symbolize their social group.

A social group with about 50 members from all walks of life was founded in March 2011.

According to Iyabo Ojo, It actually started like a joke in March 2011 when I was trying to prepare for my daughter’s 10th birthday.

It started with me asking few of my friends like Fadeke Momoh,Seun James,Morenike Dada and Monalisa on a conference chat on what colour to pick for the party.In the course of doing that,I tried to ping them but they didn’t get my messages so I thought I could create a group for us rather than rely on the conference chat.

Based on the fact that we decided on Pink for my daughter’s birthday,we decided to name the group Sexy Pink Ladies.

We have actresses,businesswomen and those in the corporate world members.In fact quite a lot of peole in London,America and Canada are members of the group and it is no longer a Nigerian thing,it has gone international.

It is a group with high focus.We have our priorities.We support ourselves financially,emotionally and so on.When one of us is having a party we rally round her and help make it a success.Beyond parties,we extend help to each other in so many ways and we have already initiated an NGO to support the needy but we can’t hide the fact that it is a social group that loves to stand out at any party. she said

SPIRITUAL WARFARE BETWEEN STAR ACTRESS IYABO OJO AND LIZZY ANJORIN

The rift between Star actress Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin is taking a new dimension as we learnt that the situation has degenerated into a cold spiritual war of attrition involving an exchange of fetish powers otherwise known as Juju.

An insider close to Anjorin disclosed to us that the actress has been experiencing some strange occurrences for a while. Our source told us that in fact, the entertainer would have become history if not for a strong spiritual backing from her pastor.

The source further added that Anjorin has been warned to embark on serious prayer and fasting to avert a spiritual attack allegedly from the camp of her “public enemy”. This was after the picture of the embattled actress was allegedly found in the custody of an Abeokuta-based herbalist.

Lizzy was recently hit by a sudden mysterious illness that defied medication but was later rescued by a relative who quickly took her to spiritualists in Abeokuta. We also gathered that another tragedy was recently averted in Abeokuta on the set of Anjorin’s new comic flick, entitled: Miss Tinubu, when production was suddenly halted after the shoot of only one scene.

According to our source, this was because the actress was rushed to an undisclosed hospital after miraculously averting a fatal accident. There were allegations that Iyabo Ojo was responsible for Lizzy's travails.

DAYO ADENEYE D1 OF KENNIS MUSIC GOES INTO MOVIE

One of Nigeria’s finest showbiz guru and celebrated radio/television presenter Otunba Dayo Adeneye fondly called D1 has joined the movie industry.The principal partner of top record label,Kennis Music who over the years built a showbiz empire with his friend Kenny Ogungbe was sighted several days back at a movie location in Ikorodu an outskirt town where Yoruba movies are produced.

Though not his first time of attempting to act in movies,D1 has featured in soap operas like the rested’Palace’ and Wale Adenuga’s ‘Superstory’.
He was in Ikorodu to play a major role in Muka Ray’s new production.He featured in the movie alongside other top actors like Yinka Quadri,Ebun Oloyede and Tijani Adekola a.k.a Kamilu Kompo among other acts.
