In an interview with People magazine for their 2012 World's Most Beautiful Woman special issue, the 30 year-old songstress said that the surrogacy rumors were "crazy," explaining, "That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy, [I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”
Rumors started swirling that the "Bootylicious" singer was wearing a prosthetic baby bump back in October when she made an appearance on Australia's "Sunday Night HD." When Knowles sat down it appeared her bump deflated, but the actress fired back, saying, "It was a fabric that folded—does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid."
Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles, also shot back at the nay-sayers, tweeting earlier, "It has really gotten out of hand. I've been doing my best at keeping my mouth shut....but the ignorance is really sad and upsetting."
The singer/songwriter's family is definitely upset about the tabloid chatter, especially her mother, Tina Knowles, who vented, "I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous."
Though the situation has been tough on the Grammy Award-winning artist, she says she has gotten through all of the "stupid rumors" by focusing on all of the "love and well wishes" from her amazing fans.

As the release of his third solo album, Bottoms Up, drew nearer, Obie Trice began hinting at the reasons behind his departure from Shady Records.
In a recent interview with GlobalGrind.com, the Detroit native spoke a bit more candidly on thematter.
"It was just issues with me," explained Obie, neglecting to point fingers. "I missed the Big Boy show out there in LA. And Jimmy [Iovine] had a real problem with that, but it wasn’t just that, though. I was younger, so things were happening that were different."
Obie also recalled when his Akon-assisted single "Snitch" was unable to gain traction, at least in part due to outside circumstances. "I had the Akon single out. If you’ve followed the Mo’Hits brouhaha – a la the ‘D’banj VS Don Jazzy messy fight’, you’ve either been entertained, amused or downright irritated. Nevertheless, the drama continues with both parties still not letting their guards down…
It’s been the same old story for most persons with the title ‘Don’ in the mafia movies – unparalleled rise to success, years of reign and respect but then an ultimate crash. Name it –
Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface, Casino, Frank Lucas….it’s all the same. Is this the same fate of our beloved Don Jazzy?
Don Jazzy was hardly the fan favourite back then; sure, he was respected, but he wasn’t the one the fans clung to. He barely spoke, letting D’banj do all the talking (and gesticulating). Don Jazzy grew the persona of a real mafia don – you know, like the ones in Sicily that head the cartel, always feared and respected, known to bless careers with hits (songs) upon hits.
But when more and more money rolled in, D’banj somewhat alienated himself from the fans and media, leaving the ‘Don’ to take care of the multitude of fans. The once ‘shy guy’ became very vocal on micro-blogging site Twitter, often giving out airtime recharge cards, iPads and more gifts, even organizing an online music competition which trended on social networks for weeks.
Don Jazzy engaged the fans, positioned himself as an accessible celeb, and a media darling. He even went as far as granting radio and TV interviews, responding to E-mails, covering magazines and delivering acceptance speeches at award shows. Don Jazzy became more accessible; the one everybody could call on and be assured of prompt response. When the heat came upon both men during the ‘Occupy Nigeria’ period, Don Jazzy once again cried out to his people, dissociating himself from D’banj, who received brutal tongue lashings from Nigerians home and abroad for seemingly evading the issue.
But last week, the Don’s credibility was tested; his mystique torn apart, when D’banj, in an elaborate interview with NET, accused his former label partner of betraying him, leaving many of the producer’s loyal fans startled, and perhaps revising where they should stand in the
whole matter.
‘He said to me in July last year ‘Let’s scatter Mohits. He told me there are two captains – two captains cannot be in a ship. I was like ‘that’s not possible, this is a marriage‘, D’banj said in the interview, among other revealing things.
If it’s anything to go by, in just a few days, the article received over 70,000 views on NET’s website, with over 380 comments – most of them in support of D’banj.
Many are still asking valid questions about the break up; and of course, there are loads of Don Jazzy loyalists who remain steadfast.
So are D’banj’s fans back with him because the entertainer broke down his side of the story by opening up on the matter? Or is it because he’s gaining buzz in the UK and he seems to be flying the African flag proud, while Don Jazzy seems to be on a never-ending hiatus?
The questions are endless. Media analysts have exhausted their theories and everyone is waiting with bated breath to see how the saga will unfold.
A few days after the interview, former friend and music partner Abdul Rasheed Bello better known as JJC (Skillz) chastised D’banj after the latter stated that JJC cheated Don Jazzy. It got all messy again as JJC who sheltered the likes of Jazzy, D’banj, Kween and the 419 Squad under his Backbone Music label, opened another can of worms, claiming that the Koko Master (whom he described as the group’s jester) never really wrote his songs, and at a point, was wanted by the UK Police for credit card theft.
While JJC felt bitter and hurt, spilling the beans to Nigezie in a video interview, little did he know that the whole drama would end up on one of the US biggest hip-hop websites Allhiphop.com. WHY JIM IYKE SHUNNED AMAA
He was said to have received his ticket as early as Tuesday and informed his close pals that he will storm the event in grand style with an entourage of seven men.
According to those who peddle the gist, gorgeous Jim Iyke declared his intentions towards AMAA on Wednesday, April 19 and was said to have gotten all his designer wears ready.

LIL WAYNE SETTLES $20MILLION 'LOLLIPOP' LAWSUIT
TMZ broke the story ... producer Darius Harrison -- aka Deezle -- sued Weezy over the album "Tha Carter III," claiming he produced several songs on the record, including "Lollipop," but was never paid for his work.
According to Darius, the album grossed over $70 million -- and he wanted $20 million to call it even.

Lloyd Banks has announced the delay of his upcoming mixtape V6.

On February 3, 1870 the XV th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified. That was purely a political move to give free men of color the vote to the exclusion of all women. It must be noted here that black men never fully enjoyed the right to vote until the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1965. The XV th Amendment ushered in more problems. Some states required that voters and candidates had to be Christians; some Northern and Western politicians wanted to continue the disenfranchisement of non-native Irish and Chinese. It took women 50 years more before they were enfranchised to vote. Some of these women, Alice Paul for example, underwent physical violence, incarceration and torture along the road to passage of the XIX th Amendment in 1920. The Amendment gave women the right to vote; however, it did not give them equality in every sense. NOLLYWOOD STAR RAMSEY NOUAH ON THE VERGE OF QUITTING ACTING
The actor made his breakthrough into one of the world’s biggest movie industries, Nollywood, after auditioning and earning a role in the television series, Fortunes, in 1991.
About two decades down the line and starring in several well-known productions, Ramsey Nouah wants to say bye-bye although many think he is still in his prime.
The actor made this astonishing revelation during an interview with Joseph Akahome of Nigerian Entertainment Today.
According to him, “I think I’ve had my fair share. To my fans and loved ones, I know they’ll always want to see me on screen, but as they say, it’s best to leave when the ovation is loudest. I want to leave a very strong legacy. I believe I have left a very strong imprint in that line. There’s no possible way you can mention ‘Nollywood’ without mentioning Ramsey Nouah.”
He however revealed that all is not lost as he will not abandoning the movie industry entirely.
Ramsey wants to spend the future behind the scenes: “Well, I’ll be going behind the scenes. I’ll still be acting a bit here and there, but it will phase out for directing eventually. For a while now, I’ve not really been on the screen, and that’s because I don’t want to act just because I want to be on TV.
“I only want to be associated with the kind of movies that are poised to take the industry to another level, which is where we are headed now. Plus, I want to focus on working behind the scenes.”
Apart from being behind the scenes, Ramsey born in Edo, Nigeria to an Israeli father and a Yoruba mother, said he will also be dedicating his time to humanitarian activities and charitable ventures.
“I started a project at one point in time, but due to circumstances I wasn’t able to see it through, so it didn’t see the light of day, but I’m working on that now and getting the resources together. Like I said, I grew up not having much, so I know the pains. Sometimes you want to help, but greedy people hijack it and in the end, the people who really need the help don’t get it.”

JADAKISS HINTS AT SONG WITH KANYE WEST, BUSTA RHYMES, OTHERS
Earlier this month, Jadakiss gave fans a reason to get excited when a picture of he, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Yasiin Bey, Fat Joe and DJ Khaled in the studio together leaked on the Internet (see above). Now, in a recent interview with MTV2, Al Queda Jada gives a little insight into the star-studded picture.
Kiss hinted that the all-star crew of rhymers may have a track in the works together. Although the D-Block general kept tight-lipped about what music was made in the session, he did say that "some huge things are to come out of that room."
"Yeah, it's gonna turn into more nights. It's just about the elite forces in the industry linking up with each other, trying to capture a certain sound," he explained. "I loved that night, that was a timeless night in Hip Hop in my life. I've been in many studio sessions with you name it, but for now, 2012, right there, that was a beautiful time to see where everybody's head was at, what was going on. The energy was great out there, and I think some huge things are to come out of that room."

Earlier today, Nas unleashed his latest single, the No I.D.-produced "Daughters," off his upcoming album Life is Good. Now, in an exclusive interview with XXL, the legendary Queensbridge emcee explains the story behind that track.
Nasty Nas explained that what inspired the track was watching his eldest daughter grow up and how quickly she became a teen in his eyes. He added that the honesty and story telling elements of the song really capture the essence of his impending album.
"It’s amazing, man. [My daughter]’s so important to me and she always has been. They grow so fast and time flies man. Before you know it, you’re looking at a little lady," he explained. “She’s my first kid, my first time watching a child become a teen and a little adult before my eyes. That’s one of the most important things in my life. She is. I can’t get away from talking about it. It’s actually one of the first songs I recorded for this album.”
He added, “I guess we’re starting to give you the next chapter. It’s like a story in a way. We’re about to give you the next records and give the people the album. DON JAZZY REPLIES D'BANJ'S INTERVIEW (HE IS A CLOWN BUT STILL MY SON) - DON JAZZY
The interview has seen many people have sympathy for D'Banj especially with some revelations made in the interview.
Responding to controversial interview in an exclusive telephone interview with Ascology News, Don Jazzy started off by saying he never wanted the issue to become this messy, even as he was aware of the way and manner social media has changed the way people view the issues surrounding the lives of celebrities; a reason he said was why he's always cautious of what he says and the interviews he grants to the media.
Both industry power-weights have been at loggerhead over alleged multiple financial disagreements, discrepancies involved in the signing of artist Dbanj into Kanye West’s Good Music record label, Don Jazzy’s lackadaisical attitude, Dbanj’s alleged public irresponsibility among other differences and conflicts that popped up between both.
"I want to be clear on something that I'm not interested in going into the debates of whatever Dbanj has said, be it through an interview, the press, social media or whatever.
People should try and understand that these are very difficult moments for me and I need my space, time and moment to carry on with my life and the production of good music which is what fans have known me for a very long time". Don Jazzy said.
The iconic producer, whose famous introvert and quiet lifestyle and personality as garnered him an enviable amount of fame, respect and magnanimous swag in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, staunchly dismissed claims by Dbanj buying houses, cars and properties for the Mo’hits boss and fellow artists, calling it “laughable and not worth responding to this early morning” claiming that quick thinking fans know his individual worth and personal financial worth of each artist at Mo’hits.
The Mo’hits boss was however very cautious and even more diplomatic in blaming, accusing or countering accusations attributed to Dbanj in various interviews, saying many of those things could not have been said by Dbanj and he isn't surprised when Dbanj claimed his accounts were hacked and also not further surprised when his (Dbanj) publicist released a statement denying some of the statements attributed to him; specifically during the interview with Ebony Magazine that Dbanj owns Mo’hits.
Incidentally, Ebony Magazine are yet to release a public apology as earlier released by D'banj's personal manager and the 'I own mohits' part of the interview still not excluded as of the time of filing this report.
The Mo’hits boss further said in the unlikely event he decides to let the public knows his own side of the story, there is the tendency for his statements to be misconstrued and manipulated by mischief makers who he blamed use few accurate information to manipulate the public into believing things that never existed (a hint that the alleged email exchange is partially true or totally untrue); an ironical situation he hinted would force him to rather keep mute on the issue and let it die a natural death.
"When this whole thing started, I felt people needed to know what’s happening and in all civility, maturity and wisdom, I made those less than 140 words tweet in 3 separate lines, now see where it has led me to.
Mohits is a family and Dbanj is like its son and families do quarell. Expecting me to come out and start countering accusations by one of my best friends ever while accusing him also in the process doesn't justify my guilt or my innocence or that of his, He (Dbanj) however has a right to his opinion to grant interviews to whoever he wishes to grant interview to.
I won't stop him and won’t stop anyone who wants to believe whatever he says either", he said.
In further attempts to get the Mo’hits boss talking, he was adamant but rightly so, reminding us of how those famous tweets confirming an apparent rift in the Mohits house got him into the messy situation as we see today.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the end of a long era and the beginning of a new one..Some of the rumours you have all heard recently are sad but true...The way forward now is to make sure I keep bringing you guys more of the beautiful music y’all love to dance to....And to end d old era I will b donating the proceeds of my production catalogue from day one till date to five charity organizations.

It was not immediately clear the positions of other artists at the Mohits house at the time of filing the report as label members Wande Coal, Dr Sid and D’Prince have all been short of economical with their opinions on the rift between their bosses.
As for Wande Coal who in an although diplomatic, yet paradoxically intended tweet to Dbanj said “God please don’t let the success you have given me get to my head to the extent that I will forget my humble beginnings”; the artist has however deleted the tweet shortly after another debatable scenario which Dbanj sarcastically accused Don Jazzy of personally tweeting.
The multi-award winning music producer however said he wishes artist, Dbanj all the best in all he aspires to do even as he (Don Jazzy) begins a rebuilding, restructuring process.

Shittu is one of the new set of victims of the phone hacking scandal, which led to the dissolving of the English newspaper, after public outrage greeted the medium’s unethical practices.
In the last few weeks, London Met has contacted at least 50 people over the hacking saga, including Manchester United star Wayne Rooney and his manager.
Insiders say Shittu was contacted by the police recently and told that they had evidence that his phone was hacked into between 2005 and 2006 by News of the World reporters.

THE KARDASHIAN FAMILY GETS $40M DEAL WITH E!
According to TMZ, the show ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ deal is worth over $40m (N6.3bn) and is the richest deal ever in the history of reality TV shows.
The new deal covers the entire Kardashian litter, made up of sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, their brother Rob Kardashian, their mom/manager Kris Jenner and her husband Bruce Jenner, as well as their kids Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The contract also extends the network’s first-look deals with the clan for unscripted ideas, concepts and projects.
Since the show has produced hit spinoffs for the network, such as’ Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ and ‘Khloe and Lamar,’ it’s only logical that E! would aim to keep the celebrity family on its roster.
The most recent season of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ has more than 3 million viewers from the 6th season, as against the low turnout of viewers experienced in 2007 when it was premièred.
The 18-episode seventh season of ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ premieres May 20.
50 CENT "THE LOST TAPE" MIXTAPE RELEASE DATE
50 Cent has announced the release of his upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape The Lost Tape with DJ Drama.
The G-Unit honcho, often credited for popularizing mixtapes on a mainstream level in the early ‘00s, is yet to release a project with DJ Drama. He last released The Big 10 in December 2011, and prior to that, dropped Forever King in July 2009.
Fif is currently recording his oft-delayed fifth album, which is tentatively set for release on July 2nd.

TUPAC HOLOGRAM PROMPTS SPIKE IN SALES
Following Tupac’s appearance as a hologram at the Coachella 2012 festival, sales have spiked for the late rapper.
According to Billboard.biz, his performance during Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s headlining set prompted a re-entry for his Greatest Hits album on the Billboard 200 where his album returns at No. 129 with 4,000 copies sold, a 571 percent increase over the prior week. It’s the first time the LP has made it onto the chart since 2000.
Additionally, his albums All Eyez on Me and Me Against the World also saw a sales bump, moving 2,000 and 1,000 units, respectively.
His tracks “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted,” both of which were performed at Coachella, had increased sales as well. The former cut moved 13,000 downloads last week for a 1,530 percent sales increase, while the latter sold 9,000 units.
ELTON JOHN SUED OVER HIT SONG - YOU JACKED MY LYRICS!!!
The man behind the accusations -- named Guy Hobbs -- filed the lawsuit in Illinois federal court, claiming he wrote a song called "Natasha" back in 1982 based on his affair with a Russian cruise ship waitress ... and three years later, Elton jacked his idea.
According to the lawsuit, Guy copyrighted the song and circulated the lyrics to multiple publishing companies -- including Big Pig, which solely publishes Elton John songs -- but he never heard back.
In 1985, Elton John released "Nikita" -- and Guy claims the lyrics bear "significant similarities" to "Natasha" ... even though "Natasha" is about a GERMAN female border guard. Hobbs doesn't specify exactly which lyrics were allegedly stolen.

The rapper tells TMZ ... he let himself slide after his stint on the reality show back in 2007 ... but was recently inspired to get his ass back in the gym after a brutally honest conversation with Dre.

RESIDENT OF FUCKING VILLAGE IN AUSTRIA WANT NAME CHANGE
The Fucking Mayor said their street signs were regularly stolen even though they have welded them on steel posts with the base covered in concrete, naked couples were often seen romping in front of the signs, and local entrepreneurs have made the situation worse by selling Fucking postcards, Fucking Christmas cards and recently, Fucking beer.
The residents wanted to replace the name to ‘Fugging,’ but much to their dismay, they discovered that the name ‘Fugging’ already existed in another village in upper Austria, and to make matter worse, it also had Fucking as its original name.
The mayor of the other village, Fugging Mayor Andreas Dockner, wasn’t sure whether the decision to change the name of their village had anything to do with what ‘fucking’ meant in English, but he was certain they could have had encountered similar problems.
The report didn’t say what other possible name the residents might have chosen for their village.
N700M SUIT: ASA APPEARS IN COURT
Yesterday, Thursday, April 26, 2012 the very popular Bukola Elemide popularly known as Asa made her first court appearance at the on-going N700m lawsuit brought by her against a celebrity magazine ‘News of the People‘.
The soul singer, her manager Janet Nwose and other reps arrived at the Lagos High Court a few minutes before 10AM. She didn’t answer any questions the few reporters who were present.
‘I expect the judge to handle the matter in the best way she deems it fit’, Janet Nwose told NET when asked about her expectation of results from the proceedings.
The case which eventually started hours later didn’t last up to five minutes as the defendant – publisher of the magazine Loye Hamzat and his counsel were missing in court. Asa’s counsel from Abraham and CO. then pleaded to the judge stating if the case has to be moved, the adjournment should be close because his clients, the claimant (Asa) does not reside in the country.
Presiding judge Justice A.J Coker then adjourned the case to May 3, 2012.
‘Asa is a law abiding citizen, that’s why she’s here. We hope things work out the right way as it should‘, Adebola Williams of RED Media explained.
Asa had slammed the lawsuit against the celebrity magazine on November 22, 2010, after they published an article portraying the musician as a homosexual.
'I EXPECTED MORE AWARDS FOR PHONE SWAP' - KUNLE AFOLAYAN
Afolayan, whose newest movie, ‘Phone Swap’ picked up the award for the Best Achievement in Production Design, said he’d have liked the movie to have won more awards based on the quality of its production.
To him, the movie picked ‘Less than’ was expected: ‘I think the film deserves more but they know better. The jury have their parameters so it’s their call, but I believe strongly that the film deserves more’ he stated.
However, the jury for this year’s awards claimed that ‘AMAA witnessed an unprecedented number of film submissions from more countries throughout the African continent and its Diaspora, which made the task of selecting the best in each category challenging.’
Nigeria won a total of 12 out of 25 awards given out at this year’s AMAA, with Lancelot Oduwa Imaseun’s ‘Adesuwa’, coming tops, winning three awards including the highly coveted ‘Best Nigerian Film’.
‘How 2 Steal 2 Million’, a South African thriller, was the most decorated film, winning a total of five awards.
The 8th edition of the African Movie Academy Awards took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island on Sunday, April 22, 2012.
TONTO DIKE 'ABANDONS' MOVIE SET, FACES LAWSUIT
The actress allegedly left the set of the movie, being shot in Asaba, Delta State on Monday, April 16, 2012, for Lagos, where she was said to have been involved in another movie.
According to a source representing the producer of the movie, which is being directed by Nonso Okonkwo, ‘Her (Tonto’s) absence has delayed the completion of our production which we started days ago. We are supposed to be rounding off this weekend but we can’t. Tonto cannot disappear with all the money we have paid her.’
She is being threatened with a lawsuit by the producers if she fails to return to location as soon as possible. The actress at the time of this report, could not be reached to either verify or refute the claim.
However, a spokesman for the actress when contacted by NET, denied any wrongdoing on her part, stating that there was no threat of a lawsuit whatsoever by the producers.
‘She is very good friends with the producer and I’m not sure where these stories about a lawsuit came from. She only travelled over the weekend to attend the AMAA ceremony, so the issue of her abandoning one set for another does not even arise, and is false‘, the rep stated.
The movie, titled ‘Blood Rage‘ is expected to star Dike, alongside Frank Atus, Queen Nwokoye, and others.
